Maynard Woman, 32, Found Dead After Rollover Crash In Chippewa County

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, MN — A 32-year-old Maynard, Minnesota, woman died Sunday morning after a single-vehicle rollover crash in rural Chippewa County.

Deputies responded to the crash at approximately 7 a.m. on July 12, finding the vehicle near the intersection of 50th Avenue SE and Chippewa County Road 36 in Havelock Township, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

Selina Castro, 32, of Maynard was found deceased outside of the vehicle.

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Montevideo Police Department, CCM Health Ambulance, the Minnesota State Patrol, the Minnesota State Patrol Aviation unit and the Lac Qui Parle County Sheriff's Office.

The crash remains under investigation.
