Warrant issued for man charged with check forgery, felony theft (echopress.com) — Alexandria authorities have issued a warrant for 33-year-old Gregory Ronald Doyles, accused of running a scheme that used homeless people to cash fraudulent checks. Police say multiple checks totaling more than $14,000 were cashed at Alexandria banks, and Doyles, who allegedly used an alias and rental car, currently has an active felony warrant elsewhere in Minnesota.
