• Aitkin man allegedly solicits Brainerd child (brainerddispatch.com) — Brainerd police report that a 21-year-old Aitkin man has been charged in Crow Wing County District Court with felony solicitation of a child after allegedly engaging in explicit Snapchat communications with a 9-year-old Brainerd child. According to the criminal complaint, investigators traced the messages, arrested the suspect at his Aitkin residence, and note he remains jailed on high bail with a court hearing set for June 16.
