• Donald Joseph Leivermann (monroecountyherald.com) — Chaska readers are reminded that Donald Joseph Leivermann was born in Chaska in 1940 before his family later moved to Wisconsin. The longtime health care administrator and National Guard veteran died May 3 at age 85, remembered for his devotion to family, faith, and helping patients. A private service and burial have already been held.
   

• Joyce Hoof, 91, Obituary – 5/22/2026 (glencoenews.com) — Joyce Ann Hoof, who was married at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Chaska in 1954, has died at age 91. The longtime homemaker and church member is remembered for her love of gardening, crafts, and family. Services are being held today in Norwood Young America, where she and her husband later settled.
