Zack Stephenson is helping lead delicate State Capitol negotiations over saving Hennepin County Medical Center, a bonding bill, and school safety funding. In a tied Minnesota House, he and Speaker Lisa Demuth both described their first meeting with Gov. Tim Walz as encouraging, saying they see enough common ground to potentially finish the session successfully.
   

• Janet Gilbertson, 84, Obituary – 4/2/2026 (delanoheraldjournal.com) — Coon Rapids is mourning longtime resident Janet “Jan” Mary Gilbertson, 84, whose funeral Mass will be held April 27 at the Church of Epiphany on 111th Avenue NW. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, CPA, and active Catholic, she was remembered for her generosity, deep faith, famous Sloppy Joes, and the warmth she shared with family, friends, and her church community.
