• Fosston fatal shooting: Man dead, another arrested (fox9.com) — A Fosston man has died after a June 8 shooting at an apartment complex on Mark Avenue, and a 22-year-old local man is in custody. Police say 31-year-old TeeJay Alvarez was found shot inside an apartment, airlifted to Fargo, and later died, while investigators have not yet shared what led up to the incident or filed formal charges.

Police arrested a 22-year-old Fosston man at the scene, but he was released while investigators complete their work and prosecutors await final reports, with authorities saying they see no ongoing threat to the public.
