• Staff 'did not believe' 13-year-old sexual assault victim, youth treatment center now closed (fox9.com) — A Fridley man who worked at the Bar None youth treatment center in Nowthen is charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, after staff allegedly refused her pleas to call 911. State human services officials later fined the facility and documented that staff did not initially believe the girl, and the operator has since closed the Nowthen location while denying the closure was tied to the case.
