• Pastor Kompelien Highlights the Annual Hastings Prayer Breakfast – KDWA 1460 AM & FM 97.7 (kdwa.com) — Hastings residents connected with local churches can attend the Annual Hastings Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 7, from 7–8 a.m. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, with breakfast starting at 6:30 a.m. Tickets cost $10 and are available through local congregations, and the event brings together pastors, city officials, and civic leaders to pray for the community.
   

• Hastings Baseball Wins Tight Contest with North St. Paul – KDWA 1460 AM & FM 97.7 (kdwa.com) — Hastings Raiders baseball edged North St. Paul 2-1 on Wednesday, powered by a clutch two-RBI single from Brady Hendrickson and a complete-game, nine-strikeout performance by pitcher Zach Simon. • Public Comment Invited Regarding the Acquisition of Allina Health by Sutter Health – KDWA 1460 AM & FM 97.7 (kdwa.com) — Hastings residents who use Allina’s local clinic are being asked for input as Minnesota’s Attorney General reviews a proposed acquisition of Allina Health by California-based Sutter Health. The state is examining how the deal could affect care access, affordability, and the health care workforce, and is inviting public comments through an online portal linked by KDWA.
