• MN AG announces oversight deal for hospital merger (klfdradio.com) — Maple Grove's North Memorial hospital is slated for part of a $600 million investment under a new 10-year oversight deal tied to its merger with Sanford Health. The agreement, approved by Minnesota's attorney general, also protects key services, jobs, and reproductive and gender-affirming care while ensuring continued trauma and emergency coverage across the Twin Cities. 
• Corcoran Police reports, Aug. 10-17 (hometownsource.com) — Several Maple Grove residents were cited in nearby Corcoran between August 10 and 17, including underage drinking, a fake ID, and disorderly conduct cases on County Road 101. The same report details two non-injury crashes and a $21,000 online scam, underscoring ongoing safety and fraud concerns just outside Maple Grove.
