All 388 test-takers were in eighth grade, reflecting broader statewide concerns about post-pandemic drops in Minnesota’s academic performance. 
• Greg Gard jumps to offer 7-foot recruit from Minnesota ahead of the Golden Gophers (badgerofhonor.com) — Osseo hoops fans may recognize 7-foot-1 center Jack Thelen, who just picked up a scholarship offer from the University of Wisconsin for its 2027 class. The Badgers moved faster than the Gophers, hoping to continue their track record of developing tall Minnesota big men and possibly lure Thelen’s high-profile teammate Baboucarr Ann as well.
