• Class 2A State Golf: Little Falls finishes strong at state (brainerddispatch.com) — Pequot Lakes golf fans will be proud to see Maria Neva’s name in the Class 2A state tournament results, where she finished tied for 71st with rounds of 94 and 93. The story recaps how she and other central Minnesota golfers from Little Falls, Pillager, Pierz, Wadena-Deer Creek, and Detroit Lakes fared on a challenging final day at Ridges at Sand Creek.
   

• Crow Wing County reminds residents to keep emergency addressing signs visible (pineandlakes.com) — Pequot Lakes property owners are being urged to keep their blue E911 address signs clearly visible so emergency crews can find them quickly when seconds matter. Crow Wing County officials say residents should clear vegetation, snow, or debris from signs and contact their city office if a sign is damaged or missing. The reminder comes as the county continues adding new addresses across the area.
   

• Motorcycle crash with deer seriously injures driver (brainerddispatch.com) — A 40-year-old man from Pequot Lakes was seriously injured when his motorcycle hit a deer on County Highway 1 near Pillager Lake in Cass County. Deputies say he was ejected from the bike and flown by Life Link III helicopter to a metro hospital. Local fire and ambulance crews briefly shut down traffic while providing emergency care at the scene.
