• Pine Island youth baseball and softball get free equipment from Twins, Treasure Island (kaaltv.com) — Pine Island’s youth baseball and softball players just scored big, with the Minnesota Twins Community Fund and Treasure Island Resort & Casino donating eight equipment kits packed with fresh gear to local associations. The surprise drop-off happened at the softball fields, where former Twins catcher Tim Laudner encouraged kids to practice daily to sharpen their skills.
