• South St. Paul Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Killing Roommate (patch.com) — Residents of South St. Paul are learning that 37-year-old Jacob John Audie has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for fatally shooting his 72-year-old roommate, Michael Maurice Schille, in their shared apartment. The conviction for premeditated first-degree and intentional second-degree murder follows a stipulated facts trial and a Dakota County grand jury indictment, with Audie now awaiting transfer from the county jail to state prison.
