D1 Training Opens in Savage, Hosts Grand Opening Celebration April 11

SAVAGE, Minn. (APRIL 8, 2026) – D1 Training, a leading fitness enrichment concept utilizing the five core tenets of athletic-based training, will be opening a new location in Savage at 12220 Zinran Ave on April 13, with a grand opening celebration taking place April 11. The new group fitness facility employs a sports-science backed training regimen led by certified trainers to help people of all ages achieve their sport and fitness goals.

In celebration of the new location’s launch, South Metro neighbors and residents are encouraged to attend the grand opening event on Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Prior Lake Chamber, appearance by former Minnesota Vikings player John Randle, raffles and giveaways, three local food trucks, and opportunities to tour the facility and meet the coaching team.

D1 Training Savage is locally owned and operated by Jeremy James, who will join a roster of impressive existing franchisees, including former professional and collegiate athletes. Additional D1 partners include NBA star Chris Paul and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow.

James is a longtime South Metro community member, a father of two young athletes, and an 18-year football coach at Prior Lake High School.
