• Edina Shooting Investigation Leads to SWAT Search Warrants in Burnsville, Savage and Shakopee (limitless-news.com) — Shakopee was one of three south-metro cities where SWAT teams executed high‑risk search warrants tied to a July 2 shooting in Edina. Police moved in around 9 a.m. on August 26, 2026, asking nearby residents to stay inside and others to avoid the area while they worked. The investigation remains active, and authorities have not released details on any arrests.
