The report also notes a 7.3% enrollment drop and compares local districts’ racial balance, including Wabasha-Kellogg and Lake City, to broader Minnesota education trends.
   

• MnDOT to turn off overhead lights on bridges in Winona, Wabasha, Red Wing during mayfly season (wxow.com) — If you drive across the Mississippi River bridge at Wabasha, expect overhead lights to be turned off for several weeks during mayfly season to reduce slippery swarms on the roadway. MnDOT says the change should improve safety, but urges motorists to slow down, stay alert, and watch conditions on the Wabasha, Red Wing, and Winona crossings.
