ā¢ Amazon to invest additional $12B in MS data centers, bring 2,000 jobs to state (sunherald.com) ā Amazon is pouring $11 billion into new data centers in Madison County, part of a $12 billion expansion that will create about 2,000 jobs statewide. The project builds on construction that began in 2024 and significantly deepens Amazonās Mississippi footprint, while some residents elsewhere in the state raise environmental and transparency concerns about similar facilities.
