• Billy Herbert Blair, 74, and Virginia Carol Barnett Blair, 71, of Mendenhall (mageenews.com) — Family and friends in Magee are invited to honor Billy and Carol Blair, longtime Simpson County residents whose visitation is Friday evening at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. The couple, known for their faith and work at Magee Tire and Service, died together at their Mendenhall home, and will be laid to rest Saturday at Stonewall Baptist Church Cemetery overlooking their beloved homestead.
