• Mississippi teen allegedly killed elderly couple in their home before firing on deputies in standoff (timebulletin.us) — An elderly Mendenhall couple, Billy and Virginia Carol Blair, were killed in their home on June 3, and a 17-year-old suspect was later arrested after an armed standoff with law enforcement. Deputies responding to the house came under heavy gunfire, and one officer was shot before the suspect was wounded and taken into custody on multiple serious charges.
