• Ash Grove big mouth sets world records (greenecountycommonwealth.com) — Ash Grove’s own Jim “Mouth” Purol, a 74-year-old world-record enthusiast, has moved into a Main Street loft and now plans to buy the former Ash Grove billiards hall to create a museum of his record-setting feats. Known for stuffing his mouth with hot dogs and cigarettes and other extreme stunts, he’s currently building a 6,000-bag “Bag Man” suit to spotlight plastic pollution in the Pacific Ocean.
