• Ballwin man charged after officer-involved shooting (westnewsmagazine.com) — A 19-year-old Ballwin resident has been charged after allegedly pointing a realistic-looking BB gun at St. Louis County officers near Manchester and Weidman roads, prompting them to shoot and wound him. He faces assault and resisting charges, is held on a $50,000 cash-only bond, and county detectives are continuing the investigation into the officer-involved shooting.
