• Belton neighbor pushback pauses land-use changes for warehouse development (kshb.com) — Belton has withdrawn a proposed land-use change that could have paved the way for large warehouse-style development near East 195th Street and Peculiar Drive after strong neighborhood pushback. City staff say they’ll pause the Comprehensive Plan map amendment, gather more input, and wait for a formal rezoning and development plan from the landowner before any future proposal moves forward.
