• Bystanders help save man stranded on steep hillside at Creve Coeur Lake Park (ksdk.com) — A man was seriously injured and stranded on a steep hillside at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park, where quick-thinking bystanders used a makeshift tourniquet until help arrived. Fire crews from Maryland Heights, Creve Coeur, Monarch, and Pattonville then executed a rope rescue and trail evacuation before transporting him to a hospital. The incident highlights coordinated emergency response in the Creve Coeur area.
