📰 News we're reading

• New hotel to move into vacant Creve Coeur building (westnewsmagazine.com) — A long-vacant office building at 717 Office Parkway in Creve Coeur is being converted into a 149-room IHG Voco hotel with a restaurant, bar, and meeting space after the City Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit. Located near the Dielmann Recreation Center and Creve Coeur Golf Course, the project repurposes an aging office property and will add EV-ready parking spaces without triggering a full traffic study.

• St. Louis restaurant openings and closings: September 2026 (laduenews.com) — Creve Coeur food options just grew with Elby Donuts on Olive Boulevard and a new Rajadhani Indian Cuisine location, both highlighted in a September roundup of St. Louis-area restaurant openings and closings. The list also tracks new spots across Des Peres, Chesterfield, Clayton, and more, plus several notable city closures, helping you plan your next meal around the metro.
