• James (JC) Smith, age 69 (kttn.com) — Family and friends are mourning James “JC” Smith, 69, whose survivors include a sister living in Crystal City. A lifelong learner and outdoorsman, JC recently retired after nearly four decades as a lineman. Services are planned in Nixa and Trenton, with memorial donations suggested to the American Cancer Society.
