• Fredericktown Firefighters Contain Residential Blaze on High Street (kfmo.com) — A house fire on Fredericktown’s High Street Wednesday afternoon heavily damaged a home but, thanks to a fast response from city firefighters and Cherokee Pass crews, no residents or responders were hurt. Flames were confined to a bedroom area, though the house suffered extensive smoke and water damage, and investigators have not yet released the cause.
