• Bar mitzvah: Reid Mandel Swillinger (stljewishlight.org) — A Ladue Middle School seventh-grader, Reid Mandel Swillinger, will celebrate his bar mitzvah on October 10 and is active on several local sports teams, including the Ladue Jr. Rams and Ladue Middle School hockey. He also recently began volunteering with Special Blues Hockey, helping athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy adaptive hockey and raise funds for equipment and ice time.
