• Christian County eschews norms to fill library board. (ksmu.org) — Christian County commissioners have filled two Christian County Library board seats, including the one meant to represent the Nixa area, by setting aside bylaws that prioritize regional representation because of few applicants. Former board president Echo Schneider, now living in Nixa, was reappointed to the Nixa-designated seat, while Ozark resident Koleman Parsley was chosen to represent the Highlandville/Spokane region over frequent board critic David Rice.
