β’ Plane headed to Wichita crashes near Lake of the Ozarks resulting in 2 fatalities (kwch.com) β Emergency crews from Osage Beach and surrounding agencies responded after a small plane crashed and burned in Lake of the Ozarks State Park, killing both people on board. The aircraft had just departed Lee C. Fine Memorial Airport, and local officials say state and federal investigators are now working to determine what went wrong and identify the victims.
