• Teen charged after crash (plattecountycitizen.com) — A Parkville man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after an alleged high-speed, alcohol-related crash on Highway 45 near Farley that killed Park Hill High School senior Tessa Walker. Prosecutors say 18-year-old Om Patel was driving over 100 mph with four passengers when the car rolled and caught fire. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
