Low-lying rural land will see flooding, and drivers are urged not to drive through barricades or flooded roads. Keep an eye on river levels and avoid risky travel near the river this weekend.
   

• No decision yet on investigation of Fricker (plattecountylandmark.com) — Platte County residents may want to follow an ongoing criminal investigation into Presiding Commissioner Scott Fricker, accused of improperly accessing Prosecutor Eric Zahnd’s county email account. A special prosecutor from Greene County and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are still reviewing possible felony computer tampering charges, while both Fricker and Zahnd have withdrawn from their reelection bids amid broader budget disputes in county government.
