• Larry Lowell Plumlee (bentoncountyenterprise.com) — Pleasant Hill is touched by this obituary through Linda Ross, a surviving sister who lives in the community, as her brother Larry Lowell Plumlee is remembered for a life of military service, ranching, and deep family ties. The 77‑year‑old Army helicopter pilot and longtime Kansas rancher passed away May 29, with services held in Wamego and inurnment planned later in Missouri. Friends and relatives are invited to share condolences online and consider memorials to Mill Creek Baptist Church.
