Finishes Construction on New Water Tower (ozarkradionews.com) — Salem has completed construction of a new $3.8 million water tower that will support the town’s system and allow rehabilitation of its older towers. Funded largely by ARPA with only a 1% local match, the tower can pump about 150 gallons per minute, with the Industrial Park tower slated for improvements next. 
• Salem man sentenced to nine consecutive life sentences in child sex crime case (abc17news.com) — A man from Salem has been sentenced to nine consecutive life terms in prison after being convicted in a child sex crime case. A Texas County jury found him guilty on multiple serious charges, and the judge imposed the maximum sentence after hearing from the victim and the victim’s mother.
