1. City of St. Louis Invites Community to PlanSTL Area 4 Field Day Highlighting Vision for Youth Excellence and Neighborhood Recovery (stlouis-mo.gov) — St. Louis residents are invited today to a Community Field Day, pop-up market, and public meeting at Mathews-Dickey Club to help shape PlanSTL's Area 4 vision. Neighbors from Wells-Goodfellow, Penrose, Fairground and nearby areas can enjoy free activities, discuss the proposed PLAY District linking local youth assets, and weigh in on tornado recovery and future neighborhood priorities.
   

2. St. Louis officials, volunteers respond to homelessness concerns after retracted letter (kmov.com) — St. Louis officials are defending the city's homelessness response after a South Grand business district letter telling shops not to aid unhoused people was retracted. The Department of Human Services says outreach happens citywide, while volunteers at MoKaBe's Coffeehouse organize donations and urge the city to expand support for people living on the streets.
   

3. St. Louis readies for Fulton J. Sheen beatification Mass (newsnationnow.com) — St. Louis is preparing for a massive beatification Mass for Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen at the Dome at America's Center, expected to draw about 50,000 attendees. Visitors from across the country and world will fill downtown hotels, attend expos and events at the convention center and cathedrals, and bring significant attention and economic activity to the city.
   

4. 'This is just a time to raise awareness': St. Louis County Health Director addresses third Missouri measles case (kmov.com) — Health officials confirm Missouri's third measles case, with exposures at several St. Louis City and County locations, and urge residents to check their MMR vaccination status. A St. Louis resident and two others from Jackson and Franklin counties are linked to the same train exposure, and authorities stress that fully vaccinated people are better protected from severe illness and complications.
