1. Kagy Boulevard & Sourdough Road Intersection Improvements (mt.gov) — Bozeman drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians can expect a new traffic signal, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and LED streetlights at Kagy Boulevard and Sourdough Road, with construction tentatively set for 2028. The project, funded by federal programs and city dollars, follows safety studies and community feedback, and residents can still submit questions and comments as design continues. 
2. Sound Resonance Meditation (bozemanmagazine.com) — Bozeman residents can explore a distinctive sound resonance meditation led by practitioners Traci and Joel Miller, featuring crystal bowls, drums, didgeridoos, and more for deep relaxation. For $33, participants are invited to simply show up, get comfortable, and experience a guided sound journey aimed at peace, regeneration, and personal insight.
3. Bozeman Doc Series: Whispers in the Woods (bozone.com) — Bozeman film lovers can catch the Montana premiere of Whispers in the Woods when the Bozeman Doc Series opens its twelfth season at the Emerson Center on Thursday, October 8. Doors open at 6:30pm, with tickets and season passes available online, kicking off twice-monthly screenings through April 2027.
4. Rising diesel prices add pressure for Montana farmers (kbzk.com) — A fourth-generation family farm just outside Bozeman is spending about $3,000 a day on diesel to keep its potato harvest running, as Montana's average diesel price has jumped to roughly $6.29 a gallon. The DeJonge family describes how soaring fuel, water worries, and land costs are squeezing their operation even as they work to keep the farm viable for future generations.
