1. Report mostly favorable to Sabey data center in Butte, but criticisms and concerns remain (msuexponent.com) — A Butte-Silver Bow ad hoc committee’s report is largely positive about the proposed $1 billion Sabey data center in Butte, projecting about 200 jobs and millions in local tax revenue, while saying water and power impacts should be manageable. Still, watchdogs and at least one commissioner argue the panel leans pro-project, want Sabey to answer questions directly, and worry about housing pressures and higher utility costs.
