• Police allege exotic drug processed, sold from Dillon-area truck stop (kpax.com) — Law enforcement raided a truck stop just south of Dillon, alleging it was being used to process and sell an illegal poppy-based drug to passing truckers. More than 30 officers took part, seizing about 100 pounds of dried poppies and jailing three men on high bond. Officials say the operation’s takedown is meant to send a strong message about drugs in the Dillon area.
