• Australian company to drill for tungsten near Philipsburg (missoulacurrent.com) — A proposed tungsten exploration project in the Flint Creek Range east of Philipsburg could bring 24/7 drilling activity, truck traffic on Princeton Road, and new use of a local contract mill. Montana DEQ has released a draft environmental assessment and is taking public comments through August 14, while regulators decide bonding and other conditions that will shape the project’s footprint and reclamation.
