• Poplar man who admitted to murdering 3 sentenced to over 15 years in prison (montanarightnow.com) — A 74-year-old Poplar man has been sentenced to more than 15 years in federal prison and five years of supervised release after admitting to fatally shooting three people at his home while using methamphetamine. The case involved Fort Peck Law and Justice officers and Yellowstone County deputies, and stems from a September 2025 incident in which the victims were found shot inside the Poplar residence.
