Man Dies in Lincoln County Detention Center (huskeradio.com) — North Platte Police are investigating after a 48-year-old Lincoln County jail inmate was found unresponsive in his cell and later died at a Colorado hospital. Life-saving efforts began at the jail, and the case will go to the Lincoln County Attorney and a grand jury, with no further details released until that review ends.

The change could mean 13,000 fewer permits next season, and hunters are divided over whether it will help rebuild Nebraska’s herd.
