• Jeep driver wanted after running over 14-year-old, driving away in west Omaha road rage incident (3newsnow.com) — Deputies are searching for a black four-door Jeep Wrangler after its driver allegedly chased kids on an electric dirt bike and ran over a 14-year-old near 205th and Harrison in west Omaha, then drove away. Investigators are reviewing camera footage, and the sheriff's office says felony charges are likely as Omaha-area communities debate how to handle electric dirt bikes on roads.

• Korean War veteran, 95, receives letters of thanks from South Korean students through teen friendship in Omaha (3newsnow.com) — A 95-year-old Korean War veteran with roots in Union, Nebraska is being honored in Omaha through a touching friendship with a 14-year-old whose family is stationed at Offutt. Their bond led South Korean students to send pages of thank-you letters and drew a photographer from South Korea to Field Club to document his story for future generations.
