After months of debate, residents, animal control, and council are weighing new designated areas, safety concerns, and enforcement challenges, with a formal resolution expected as early as the first May council meeting. 
• Late-inning effort lifts Lady Eagles (bouldercityreview.com) — Boulder City High School’s softball team just pulled off a gritty, late-inning comeback over rival Virgin Valley after earlier topping 4A Silverado, showing real growth for this young squad. Pitcher-hitter standout Rhiley Beck and slugger Payton Rogers led the way, and the Eagles now turn to a series with Pahrump Valley plus a non-league matchup against Lincoln County this Saturday.
