Drawing on decades with Churchill County School District and work at The Grid, she hopes Fallon voters will value her listening skills and collaborative approach in a crowded field. 
• Fallon's Mauga Breaks Home Run Record (thefallonpost.org) — Fallon softball fans just watched freshman slugger Kanani Mauga smash the CCHS single-season home run record with 16 blasts while leading the Lady Greenwave to back‑to‑back wins over Elko. After improving at the plate all weekend, Fallon now hosts Lowry on Friday and a special Girls in Softball Day and senior day celebration on Saturday, with free merch for youth in Greenwave gear.
