• Hill wins State High School Rodeo Queen title for third straight year (fernleyreporter.com) — Big rodeo action is headed to Winnemucca as the Silver State International Rodeo runs June 29–July 5, bringing top Nevada high school and junior high competitors to town. Fernley’s Kashlin Hill and several teammates qualified in multiple events, with Hill also earning a third straight Nevada State High School Rodeo Queen title and a trip to nationals in Nebraska.
