• New Hampshire school districts struggle to fill special education positions (wmur.com) — Bedford schools are still scrambling to hire special education staff as the new year begins, even though overall staffing is described as strong. The story explains how Bedford, Manchester, Concord, and other districts are coping with a statewide shortage of special education teachers, including using contracted providers and alternative certification pathways while the state pushes recruitment efforts. 
• New Dashboard Provides Education Freedom Account Data (indepthnh.org) — Bedford families are turning heavily to Education Freedom Accounts, with local participation jumping from 39 students to 210 in just a few years after income caps were lifted. A new statewide dashboard lets residents see, town by town, how many students qualify, how many have special needs, and how much demand exceeds the program's cap, while raising questions about costs and who benefits most.
