• Body found in Merrimack River in Bedford, NH, state police say (newenglandnewspress.com) — A body was discovered Saturday afternoon in the Merrimack River near Hawthorne Road in Bedford, prompting a state police death investigation. Authorities say the death does not appear suspicious and there is no known threat to the public, but they are asking anyone with information to contact Marine Patrol as they await autopsy results.
   

• Basketball, tennis courts at Bedford's Legacy Park to get new lighting (unionleader.com) — Bedford residents can expect brighter evenings at Earl G. Legacy Park as the town moves ahead with a $147,440 project to add and upgrade LED lighting on the tennis and basketball courts. Funded largely by recreation impact and capital improvement fees, the work also includes a new trail to Riddle Brook Elementary, expanding pickleball and court access into darker months.
