• NH House Votes Down Revising Divisive Concepts Law (indepthnh.org) — State Rep. Muriel Hall of Bow opposed a major overhaul of New Hampshire’s homeschooling rules, arguing the current system works and protects children’s education. Her stance came as the House advanced several sweeping education measures, including ending school contingency funds, expanding state control over hardship placements, and studying a shift toward charter schools statewide. 
• House Approves of New Landfill Site Evaluation Committee (indepthnh.org) — State lawmakers have approved a revised 10-year highway plan that includes long-delayed expansion of I-93 from Bow through Concord, funded by higher tolls on some drivers. The same busy session saw creation of a landfill siting committee, changes to insurance risk pool oversight, new rules for tiny houses, and passage of controversial “biological sex” facility and sports bills.
