Forecasters Say New Hampshire’s Early Fall Weekend Weather Will Be Enjoyable

The National Weather Service says after Friday's showers in the Granite State, expect a sunny weekend with early-autumn temperatures.

GRAY, ME — It is early autumn in New Hampshire, and weather forecasters are suggesting a nice weather weekend is on the horizon… after showers on Friday.

Forecasters are calling for rain, mainly between 2 and 5 p.m. on Friday, with partly cloudy skies in between and highs near the upper 70s and lower 80s. Winds will be 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph, in some parts of the state.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s with a chance of rain continuing between 8 and 9 p.m. It will be slightly warmer, in the mid-50s, on the Seacoast.

On Saturday, expect sunny skies with highs in the upper 60s and near 70 in Nashua and southern New Hampshire. Overnight lows will be in the upper 30s.

Similar weather is expected on Sunday.

Temperatures will be in the mid-50s to mid-60s between Monday and Wednesday, with mostly clear and sunny skies, according to the extended forecast.
