Laconia Man Accused Of Strangling His Mother: Follow-Up

LACONIA, NH — A man from Laconia is facing a murder charge after being accused of strangling his mother.

Christopher Garon, 32, was charged with second-degree murder on Wednesday, accused of killing his mother, Linda Dionne, 58. Dionne, according to the state attorney general’s office, was found dead in her home on Tuesday on Old Prescott Hill Road.

Garon was encountered by police after they were sent to the home. He is being held without bail and was arraigned in Laconia District Court on Wednesday.

After an autopsy on Wednesday, it was determined Dionne died due to strangulation.
