New Hampshire Lottery: Saturday's Powerball Jackpot Estimated At $856M, Cash Option $372M

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Lottery said the Powerball jackpot is expected to rise to an estimated $856 million for Saturday night’s Aug. 8 drawing, with a projected one-time cash payout of $372 million before taxes are withheld.

If that estimate holds, the prize would rank as the eighth-largest Powerball jackpot of all time.

There have been 41 consecutive drawings since the last jackpot was won. The lottery said the jackpot has been growing since May 2026, when two players in Texas and Florida split a $20 million jackpot.

Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m.

For New Hampshire players, Powerball tickets are sold at more than 1,200 retailers statewide and online through NH iLottery. The lottery said players may buy a ticket until 9:48 p.m. online or 9:50 p.m. in stores on the evening of the drawing.

The lottery said it has contributed more than $3 billion to education in New Hampshire since 1964.
